Description:

- Annual salary range is $69,177 + 11.5% super

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking applications for a Participant Support Officer to assist participants in AMES Education’s SEE Program to feel supported in their learning, remain engaged in training and achieve their goals.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
- High level cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to support people with limited English skills to maintain their training pathway plan
- Minimum of Certificate III in Community Services or similar field; and/or at least 3 years’ experience in a client support or customer service role
- Highly developed engagement skills with a demonstrated capacity to engage/re-engage clients in Education and training programs
- Hold a current Victorian driver’s license
- Be willing to travel between offices within the South East for the Dandenong role and between Melbourne CBD and Box Hill offices for the Melbourne CBD role
- High level IT skills including the ability to use online platforms to update, maintain and interpret accurate client records
- Proficient in Client Management Systems (e.g. STRATA, Markbook), MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and to engage clients
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills
