Description:
The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.
As a Partner Solution Sales lead, your responsibilities will be to develop and execute Partner Solution Sales and Territory plans with partners. You will be expected to drive sales through both partner-led and co-sell initiatives to achieve quarterly Financial Revenue Attainment (FRA) with a focus on Microsoft’s business applications solutions in small-midsize-businesses (SMB).
As a Leader of the business application Solution Area Sales, your role involves driving your partner’s sales execution at a large scale. Your deep solution area expertise and business acumen will be leveraged to drive revenue impact month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter. Success in your role will be achieved by having Solution Area depth through skilling and a clear understanding and execution across the Microsoft Customer Engagement Model Framework. You will be responsible for creating and executing a well-designed Solution Area focused plan. Additionally, you will actively seek to enhance your career path through recommended and additional training. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the solution area, grow your business acumen, and hone your sales leadership skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management within the technology industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of Business Applications (BizApps) and their impact on SMBs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales or partner management, specifically within the BizApps domain.
- Deep knowledge of the SMB market and its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Experience working with Microsoft Business applications and other cloud-based solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or sales methodologies

Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive the adoption of BizApps solutions within the SMB sector.
- Partner Engagement: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key partners to ensure successful collaboration and co-selling opportunities.
- Solution Presentation: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of BizApps solutions, showcasing their value and benefits to potential clients and partners.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a cohesive approach to partner engagement and solution delivery.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and partner feedback, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest BizApps solutions and industry trends, and continuously develop your knowledge and skills to effectively sell and support BizApps solutions.
