Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Partnership and Local Marketing Specialist will play a key role in enhancing Shelby’s
brand presence and fostering strategic partnerships. This position combines relationship
management, event coordination, and localized marketing efforts to drive customer
engagement, community involvement, and business growth. The ideal candidate is a self-
starter with a passion for building meaningful relationships, executing innovative
marketing campaigns, and creating positive community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development:
Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with big brands, universities,
community organizations, and influencers to amplify Shelby’s brand visibility.
Collaborate with corporate partners to develop co-marketing initiatives that align
with Shelby’s brand values and business goals.
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual value and
alignment with organizational objectives.
Maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, offering marketing support
and resources to enhance local outreach.
Local Marketing Campaigns:
Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales for
individual store locations.
Plan and manage community engagement events, such as grand openings, local
sponsorships, and CSR initiatives.
Customize promotional materials and campaigns to cater to the preferences of local
audiences.
Monitor the success of local marketing campaigns through data analysis and provide
actionable insights for improvement.
Event Management:
Coordinate and execute events, including store openings, anniversary celebrations,
and seasonal promotions.
Ensure all logistics, including vendor management, on-site coordination, and post-
event reporting, are handled seamlessly.
Partner with the creative team to develop event-specific marketing materials.
Brand Building:
Act as a brand ambassador for Shelby’s, ensuring consistency in messaging and
representation across all partnerships and local marketing efforts.
Develop strategies to enhance Shelby’s presence in key local markets and foster
brand loyalty among customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align local campaigns with overarching
brand initiatives.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and report on the performance of partnerships and marketing initiatives,
focusing on ROI and engagement metrics.
Present regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting successes and opportunities
for growth.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in partnership management, local marketing, or related roles.
Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships and
executing successful marketing campaigns.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build
relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of handling
multiple tasks simultaneously.
