PATH is currently recruiting for a Partnerships Associate to be based in Brussels.
PATH is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, and enthusiastic Partnerships Associate to support the Europe partnerships office. The Partnerships Officer will report to the Partnerships Director based in Brussels in carrying his outreach efforts and will get an opportunity to contribute to positioning PATH among European donors and institutions in developing a diverse and growing portfolio of impactful work in public health across the different regions. Key responsibilities will be to provide support on activities including, but not limited to knowledge management, assistance with positioning and proposals, internal coordination, organizing outreach and events as well as supporting the Director with the formulation and implementation of the strategy.
Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for Partnership Associate include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Undertake partner research and knowledge management by collecting and collating information available on strategic priorities and funding opportunities from the actors relevant to PATH & carry out analysis of data being reported in the public domain.
  • Undertake landscape assessments to seek, sense and analyze trends in the funding environment and develop strategy documents as well as concept notes and all other relevant support material for meetings and proposals with the relevant actors.
  • Conduct secondary research and landscape analysis for material contributing to the development of concept notes and proposals.
  • Support the Director and the relevant colleagues in coordinating the positioning efforts and proposal development process with PATH internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor the evolution of a stakeholder map including supporting the director in drafting and implementing an outreach plan with different communications materials, in person meetings, and events that establish PATHs value proposition.
  • Provide support to country offices and health divisions planning to meet with the relevant actors in their scope with intelligence, talking points, and when necessary logistical arrangements, particularly in the case of missions and delegations.
  • Support the team in preparing for meetings internally and externally, including conducting background research on meeting participants and organization focus areas.
  • Deliver any other need-based tasks as requested by the Partnerships Director.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree at a reputable graduate school with relevant experience of 2-4 years of working in public health, social entrepreneurship and/or donor outreach/key account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
  • Comfort with collaborating across all levels of leadership internally.
  • Critical analysis and strong report writing skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity-building approach to supporting staff development.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent in written and spoken English.
