Description:

As the Partnership Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving both operational success and strategic initiatives within AIG’s Nordic Accident & Health team. You’ll be responsible for executing and managing key partnerships, focusing on creating new business as well as expansion and retention of our affinity partners across the Nordic countries.
Reporting to the Nordic Head of Accident & Health, this role requires a mix of sales, hands-on project management and strategic oversight, making it ideal for a commercially-minded professional who thrives in both getting things done and shaping the future direction of the business.
How you will create an impact
Partnership Growth: Lead the development and execution of affinity partnerships, driving growth across the Nordics.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day partnership operations, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with business goals.
Commercial Success: Take responsibility for the financial performance of partnerships, ensuring profitability and long-term value.
Problem-Solving: Handle partnerships challenges professionally and in a timely manner to maintain strong partner relationships.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate partnerships into broader business strategies with a high level of cooperation with the EMEA A&H Regional Team
What you’ll need to succeed
Business Development: Experience in acquiring new B2B2C clients, particularly targeting affinity programs or similar markets.
Commercial Focus: Strong understanding of financials, ensuring partnerships meet profitability goals.
Relationship Management: Skilled at building and maintaining long-term partner relationships.
Problem-Solving: Able to handle partnership challenges professionally and in a timely manner.
Negotiation & Influence: Strong negotiation skills to secure mutually beneficial deals and foster long-term partnerships.
Team Player: need to be working well within a team – both at local, Nordic, and regional level
Languages: Fluent in Swedish, with strong English proficiency.

Meet the Nordic A&H Team
The Nordic Accident & Health team consists of 26 professionals spread across the Nordics, focusing on Group and Individual A&H. Our product suit consists of Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Cash either stand alone or through payment and/or bill protection solutions together with Business Travel and Expatriate Insurances. We prioritize collaboration, strategic alignment, and shared success, and we work closely with other departments and lines of business across the company – particularly our partners in Affinity, Distribution, Underwriting Operations, and Claims.
