REQUIREMENTS

ChargePoint is a high energy company within a fast-paced industry that is experiencing unprecedented growth. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in strategic account management or business development or enterprise account management within or with a European Automotive OEM
  • Excellent project management skills. With the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects in parallel.
  • Strong technology understanding in both hardware and software, both vehicle and charging side.
  • Strong analytical, modelling skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing and able to be detail oriented and hands-on with managing each activity set, while keeping the big picture top of mind.
  • Proven ability to work effectively cross functionally within an organisation.
  • Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • 5-8 years experience working in similar roles and/or industry
  • Masters degree in Business, Energy, Economics or related field, or relevant consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

This position is a highly-visible role within ChargePoint and the industry – to nurture and develop strategic relationships with Automotive OEMs. The Partnership Manager Automotive & Trucks EU is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple work streams and activities between ChargePoint and its strategic partners. The role necessitates the management of a wide variety of workstreams from near-term revenue generating, to long-term project cultivation across various partner divisions and geographies. Success in this role will require the ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the EV charging eco-system from cloud services, in-car and mobile applications to charging hardware and support services.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across a range of divisions within the strategic partners’ organisation, as well as with colleagues across multiple departments within ChargePoint (including Sales, Marketing, Support, Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering), to ensure delivery of milestones.
This is a position in the dynamic, rapidly-growing EV industry, with a NYSE listed market leader.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Based in Europe, the Partnership Manager Automotive & Trucks EU will be supporting all activities between ChargePoint and its strategic customers in their region. Specifically:
  • Maintaining and broadening ChargePoint’s strategic relationships with Automotive & Truck OEMs
  • Establishing new work streams with existing accounts while managing those already underway.
  • Coordinates cross-functionally across multiple ChargePoint departments, to ensure customer requirements and project milestones are met.
  • Reports on progress and on the state of relationships across various business units.
  • Assesses the customer activity sets on a regular basis, to determine whether changes in prioritisation and/or program scope are required.
