TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Cert 4 or Diploma in Finance -Mortgage Broking required (plus tertiary qualification preferred)
  • 2 Years Broker Experience or training and development within the industry
  • Training and Development experience
  • Aptitude for technology and Digital Broker Systems
  • Experience in Broker Engine (preferred but not essential)
  • Worked in high volume lead businesses such as Lendi, Mortgage Choice or similar an advantage
  • Familiar with and or worked within large technologically driven Broker or Aggregation businesses.
  • Passion for training and development
  • Ability to connect and build authentic and lasting relationships
  • Can work autonomously and self-motivated
  • Strong credit knowledge

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Promote and lead the NPF Broker Value Proposition, with focus in broker productivity & engagement.
  • Ensuring competencies across all systems and processes.
  • Lead by example and maintain high level of knowledge in all systems including, Broker CRM, Lead Management System, Marketing tools, Compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions and identify opportunities for further development and industry best practice.
  • Promote a strong network engagement that ensure robust integration, strong broker relationships and positive broker advocacy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

Staff engagement:

  • Contribute to the implementation of NPF BluePrint that aligns and focus in
  • Assistance and support NPF broker proposition and NPF Network
  • Lead by example and support a culminating attendance and participation of NPF Brokers in all meetings, training sessions and programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with all NPF brokers and key personals.

System and processes:

  • Maintain engagement and utilisation of NPF broker systems and processes
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities around processes, technology advances that increase NPF broker productivity.
  • Liaise with NPF compliance and administration Manager, to maintain a high level of understanding and consistency of compliance of systems and processes.
  • Maintain an active loan application skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to NPF Monthly Business report

Compliance

  • Maintain a high-quality and best practice compliance standard.
  • With guidance from NPF General Manager and NPF Compliance and Admin Manager, deliver best practice compliance training, individually and as a Business Unit.
  • Promote NPF policies, procedures and processes.

Training

  • Prepare, calendarize and deliver NPF training sessions, of the following topics and not limited to
  • Scenario examples and assistance
  • NPF Systems and processes
  • Key industry, technical and process that promote the drive of a broker business.
  • Loan writing process
  • Lead management & customer relationship.
  • Keep NPF GM informed of training planning recommendations, sessions and individual coaching sessions facilitated.

Inductions:

  • Support NPF GM in recruitment and guidance of New Broker inductions
  • In conjunction with GM and Compliance and Admin Manager develop NPF induction program that compliments NPF Broker Value proposition, compliance obligations and requirements.

Relationships:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with NPF BDM
  • Develop and maintain strong and enduring relationships with NPF brokers.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with Internal key stakeholders
  • Lead by example in demonstrating the values and desired behaviours and culture of the organisation and apply core competencies consistently.
