Description:

ABOUT US:

Hey there, we’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom and redefine the future of personal care across Europe and beyond. We’re a high-growth, venture-backed start-up, launching our refillable deodorant on WeAreWild.com in 2020 - we’re also one of Europe’s fastest growing start-ups. Sounds fun, right?
We are looking for a commercially minded and business development focused Partnerships & Affiliate Marketing Manager. Your primary task will be to drive DTC new customer acquisition, through fostering brand partnerships, nurturing our affiliate network and delivering offline marketing campaigns across the UK/EU/US/AUS markets. This is a great opportunity to take responsibility and push your own initiatives in a high-growth environment. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to get stuck into a fast-paced startup, can juggle tasks and drive results.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Please note that we welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every single bullet point on the lists below - if you’re passionate about our mission and feel you have relevant skills and experiences to add value to this role, please submit an application!

  • Having 3+ years experience in an e-commerce, DTC or other digital-first marketing role with experience executing marketing partnerships with 3rd party partners is a plus!
  • You have experience working with affiliate networks such as AWIN, CJ or Rakuten.
  • Bonus if you have good relationships and a strong network with brand partners
  • A good understanding of offline marketing channels - inserts, direct mail, press etc.
  • Strong organisational and people management skills, with the desire to roll up your sleeves and execute campaigns in order to hit business goals
  • Entrepreneurial: Able to work in an unstructured environment, bringing your own creative ideas to the team and are open to getting involved with a variety of different tasks. You are curious and creative and constantly thinking of new ways to evolve our ways of working
  • Ambitious: A self-starter able to use your own initiative. You can work independently and you’re not afraid of expressing your opinions.
  • Data-driven: You enjoy interpreting previous campaign data to develop sound growth strategies and are confident navigating your way around google sheets/excel
  • Results focussed: You’re commercially minded and highly motivated to over exceed your spend and new customer acquisition targets.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder: Able to express insights, suggestions, and make challenges to both external partners as well as people across and above you in the business.
  • Time management: Able to juggle multiple different projects at once and manage your workload, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

SOME OF YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communication: Be responsible for the management of our affiliate partnership network. This will include building strong relationships, onboarding new partners across all markets, analysis of key performance trends and optimisation of our existing partner mix.
  • Partnerships: Build a pipeline of EU/US/AU brand partnerships and deliver performance-driven, offline partnerships with brands and third parties across a variety of different media including inserts, email, offline/print and other offline acquisition channels. Contribute to the development of new creative assets, by writing briefs and analysing performance of existing creatives.
  • Negotiation & target achievement: Support in the negotiation of commercials and exposure with key affiliates to maximise exposure and ROI within budget.
  • New ideas: Help develop new marketing channels and strategies to drive new customer growth in international markets.
  • Data & Insights: Report on campaign and channel performance on a weekly and monthly basis to the wider marketing team and senior leadership team when required. You will develop a deep understanding of how these marketing channels fit within our wider marketing mix and be able to report into senior management on the performance.
  • People Management: You will manage a high-performing team of 3 direct reports that works across the UK, EU and US/AUS. This will include responsibility for their performance, progression and budgets.
  • Strategy: You will be responsible for developing the strategy across affiliate marketing, partnership marketing and offline acquisition. This will require a strong understanding of DTC performance metrics such as CAC, LTV and discounting.
