Pacific West Mechanical is a well established and growing full service mechanical contractor. Our expertise is in service, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, of managed commercial and multi-family buildings in the Greater Vancouver Region.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES INCLUDE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • A team player with an amazingly positive attitude and character
  • Top tier customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • 2+ years of parts and inventory exposure is preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing industry or exposure to a service industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of plumbing & HVAC materials, parts, fixtures, and equipment for multi-family condo buildings is an asset
  • Familiarity with drawings and schematics is an asset
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Able to track and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to think on your feet, multitask, and problem solve
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Creative parts sourcing by involving multiple suppliers for pricing and quicker delivery, understanding where different brands can be substituted. (location, cost, reliability);
  • Manage clients expectations with estimated arrival of parts :
  • Receiving approval from client, purchasing parts, follow-up on part arrival with supplier, receiving and noting parts location in our job record;
  • Inform clients, service team, and technicians of part availability, location, and expected time of arrival;
  • Seek guidance from leadership when required;
  • Ready and flexible to assume other administrative roles for vacation / sick coverage; and
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
