Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 education, Supply Chain Management experience is an asset.
  • Strong people management and organizational skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Experience in a complex and high paced manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Windows, and ERP systems, an asset.
  • Must be highly self-motivated

Responsibilities:

BASIC EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES

Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.
Being responsible — on time for work and take breaks during designated times.
Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance
as needed.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick, package and stage daily stock orders.
  • Load daily packaged stock orders onto shipping trucks
  • Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.
  • Responsible to maintain Barrel, Fitting, Rods and Plunger inventory (racking) areas clean, tidy and free of hazards.
  • Responsible to restock finished good inventory (barrels, fittings, plungers) in correct bin locations.
  • Ensure on hand barrel, fitting, rods and plunger inventory is accurate and locations are correctly labeled. Communicate daily inventory discrepancies to Supervisor.
  • Ensure second verification is completed for all picked orders for accuracy on parts and paperwork.
  • Complete cycle counts as designated by supervisor.
  • Hand in daily pick list to Supply Administrator to enter picks against stock order lines to ensure inventory is relieved from inventory.
  • Complete daily housekeeping as per company standard work and 5S policy and maintain a clean and neat work area.
  • Communicate daily with Supply Administrator for reordering of packing material (boxes) and shipping supplies as needed.
  • Assist in completing second verification, as needed.
  • Assist in building barrel boxes and part boxes.
  • Assist in loading daily packaged stock orders onto shipping trucks.
  • Assist shipper, receivers and pickers as designated by supervisor.
