Description:
Overview:
Expleo UK are looking for an ideal candidate to join our team on a major OEM’s customer site to support their engineering team.
We are looking for a skilled Parts Quality Engineer / Auditor to be part of their expert team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the needs of our customers are met, investigating, and establishing root cause through auditing and supporting the implementation of countermeasures.
Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with teams throughout the local and global supply network, The OEM’s QA team is the driving force behind our exceptional quality standards for their products and manufacturing procedures. This OEM has a strong culture of continuous improvement in everything they do. You will operate in a highly diverse environment conducting third party audits across our global supply base.
- Without the Quality Assurance team, the UK’s largest car manufacturer would cease to operate.

- You will be accountable for auditing our suppliers through in house specialist audits aligned with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949.
Qualifications:
- Suitable degree or work based qualifications in auditing to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
Essential skills:
- You will challenge our suppliers and make positive improvements to enhance part quality, reduce concern investigation time and to support implementation of robust countermeasures.
- ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 lead auditor trained a must.
- Willingness to travel a must.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC & MSA desirable.
- Alliance New Product Quality Procedure (ANPQP) awareness desirable.
- Applicants with a varied background in one or more of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply; Body in White, Vehicle Trim, Electrical Architecture or EV Powertrains.
Experience:
- 3 years or more in Automotive quality and ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
