JOB DESCRIPTION
The Parts Sales & Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ equipment is running and performing to the Vacutrux standard. As part of the sales team this individual will:
· Counter parts sales including phone and email requests
· Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, mechanical issues with customers
· Scheduling and billing in-house service work with repair/sales team
· Support Shipping and Receiving department by assisting in the packaging and shipping of materials and parts
· Work closely with receiving department to maintain knowledge of what parts have arrived and are ready for ship out.
· Assisting purchasing department with maintaining minimum inventory values
· Sales order entry and ensuring customer receives the parts/equipment requested on time
· Provide parts quotations to customers in person, email, fax or over the phone upon request
· Answering and giving advice to customers with technical issues, parts and equipment selection
· Scheduling repair appointments for customers with the service department
· Arranging freight with the customer for deliveries
· Keeping current on new products and upgrading equipment/parts knowledge
· Dealing with customer warranties, refunds and credits
Skills the ideal candidate has include:
· 2-3 years of previous sales experience
· Mechanical experience viewed as an asset
· Sales experience in a technical capacity viewed as an asset
· Ability to quickly develop a good rapport with customers
· Enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent
