SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated parts and service sales experience
  • Previous supervisory experience (Desirable)
  • Demonstrated understanding of components and parts at market value and associated repair costs
  • Familiarity with Hydraulic Hose Assembly will be looked upon favourably
  • A strong knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Dedication to customer satisfaction and service requirements

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Supervisor to join our Parts team in Bathurst.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, our Parts Supervisor is responsible for the effective operation and output of the Parts Department. This role will see you providing leadership and guidance to a small team of Part Sales Coordinators and Warehouse Operators to ensure outstanding customer service and effective operation of our Parts Department.
Our successful candidate will utilise their parts interpretation experience to assist our team with overflow calls and walk-in customers. With a keen eye for organisation, you will ensure our team complete regular stocktakes and ensure any discrepancies are rectified.
This role is a Monday – Friday roster, with a requirement to work a Saturday shift every third week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide advice on parts availability and suitability to customers
  • Provide leadership to a small team of Warehouse Operators & Parts Sale Coordinators
  • Ensure all parts are ordered, receipted and delivered within agreed timeframes
  • Promote and demonstrate safety behaviours and reporting processes to ensure an ongoing safe working environment
  • Ensure the day-to-day operations within the Parts department are efficient and effective
  • Carry out progressive stocktake and meet weekly targets to ensure stock levels are correct and investigate any discrepancies
