Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Passport Office Manager oversees the daily operations of the Passport Office at TXST and performs the day-to-day tasks to keep the Office operational. The Passport Office Manager oversees one other part-time facility agent and reports directly to the Director of Education Abroad and Passport Services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and keep up-to-date standard operating procedures for the Passport Office to ensure compliance with Department of State regulations.
- Supervise and provide up-to-date training for the part-time facility acceptance agent.
- Maintain operations for the Passport Office, such as maintaining the website, maintaining the booking website, keeping supplies on order, etc. working within the budget given.
- Coordinate marketing services for the Passport Office.
- Review applications and documents for completeness, collect fees, sign, and execute documents for passport applications or renewals.
- Complete transmittal documents and prepare documents for shipping.
- Ensure that all mail goes out by the end of the day to comply with Department of State regulations, which may include driving to the closest USPS drop-box to drop the mail.
- Retain records for up to 24-months using a secure, record retention process.
