Pastry Chef/Baker

We are seeking a Pastry chef/Baker to join our team in a bustling cafe setting. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.
· Support the preparation and baking of a variety of pastries, and other baked goods.
· Ensure product consistency and quality by following established recipes and guidelines.
· Operate and oversee kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters, addressing any issues or malfunctions as needed.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant bakery area, following health and safety regulations.
· Package, label, and arrange baked goods for display and sale.
· Monitor and manage inventory levels, including stock rotation, and promptly communicate supply needs.
· Use creativity to develop new recipes and products that align with our values and satisfy customer preferences.
· Provide excellent customer service, assisting with enquiries and special orders to ensure a positive customer experience.
· Supporting the baristas, during busy times in assisting with serving and preparing coffee and pastries if required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
