Description:

Are you a passionate and talented Pastry chef at CDP level seeking a new and exciting opportunity? We are recruiting for a prestigious 4 star hotel located in the heart of the New Forrest, renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings, luxurious guest experience, and distinguished restaurant.
As a Pastry Chef (CDP level), you will play a vital role in our culinary team, working closely with our Executive Head Chef to create exquisite desserts, and baked goods that delight our discerning guests. Your creativity, precision, and commitment to excellence will ensure our pastry offerings are second to none. You will also be involved in the production for our acclaimed restaurant and our extensive banqueting services.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef (CDP Level) in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and trends
Experience in a 2 AA Rosette environment preferred
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Relevant culinary qualifications

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of innovative desserts menus for the restaurant
Oversee pastry production for banquets, weddings, and other large events
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
Uphold health and safety regulations in the kitchen
