Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Working as part of the Kitchen Team, this position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
The Pastry Chef de Partie plays a vital role in assisting in the daily operations producing high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. You will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to maintain and improve the quality of our offerings while adhering to our standards of excellence.

ROLE SPECIFICATION:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
  • Collaborate on menu development, introducing new and exciting dessert creations.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all pastry and dessert items, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry staff, fostering a positive and educational work environment.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met, adhering to health regulations.
  • Manage stock levels and inventory for the pastry section, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality from our suppliers.
  • Monitor performance and ensure timely production during service hours.
  • Contribute to special events, banquets, and seasonal offerings as needed.
