As a Patent Engineer, you will work closely with the IPR Manager and various departments, contributing to the protection of intellectual property rights across our product portfolio. You will play a crucial role in assisting with the patenting process and providing technical expertise to help identify and protect valuable innovations.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of professionals within our R&D and legal teams and work in an exciting, rapidly evolving, and international environment. You will be involved in every stage of the patent lifecycle, from invention disclosures to enforcement and litigation support, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation in our industry. Main responsibilities

• Monitoring and assessing third-party patents
• Performing freedom-to-operate analyses
• Assessing the patentability of new inventions
• Overseeing the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, including instructing external patent attorneys
• Identifying new inventions in collaboration with R&D and product management
• Encouraging innovation within the company and fostering an innovation-driven culture

What we expect from you

• M.Sc. or higher education in physics, engineering, or related fields

• 3+ years of experience in IPR Engineer, Patent Attorney, or -Examiner, or related roles

• A solid understanding of patenting processes, including drafting, filing, and prosecution

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with technical teams to understand complex innovations
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

We also appreciate

• Prior knowledge of Cryogenic and RF devices
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset in getting results
• Positive, hands-on attitude
