Description:
The Admissions and Recruitment team is seeking to hire 2 Pathway Recruiters that will be responsible for new student recruitment, community outreach, public information and program-specific promotional events for an assigned pathway. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise to the recruitment of a diverse body of students for targeted programs. For more information, see the classification description below.
Work will typically be completed remotely from a home office M-F, between 8-5pm. Occasional work outside of these hours will be required and the ability to travel to campus/various work locations should also be expected as this position will require in-person meetings and frequent event attendance.
Job duties include (but are not limited to):
- Planning and completing recruitment and outreach activities to share information about assigned pathway programs (virtually and in-person, on and off-site) with prospective students
- Working cross-collaboratively with program leadership, Admissions, and Marketing departments to develop pathway-specific marketing and recruitment strategies/goals for assigned pathway
- Assisting students through the admissions process for an assigned pathway (if necessary)
- Meeting with students interested in assigned programs and responding to student inquiries and emails

Experience working with and/or collaborating across various college or university departments. This experience can include working for Community Based Organizations that support college student attendance

- .Experience utilizing admissions CRMs and/or other student information systems technologies for tracking engagement.
- Ability to share information about programs/careers in a way that is accessible to a wide variety of audiences

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in counseling, student services, or other related field preferred
- .1 year Experience in customer oriented or student centered experience in an academic environment (such as academic advising, college admissions, or work similar to these roles)
- .Experience in a program related field preferred.Experience in public speaking, educational marketing and recruitment
- .Strong organizational skills with experience in program coordination and/or office management

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is typically performed in an office environment or remotely with a high level of public contact, both over the phone and in person. During peak recruitment periods incumbent may work extended hours, including weekends. This position may require travel within the community and PCC campuses requiring the use of a personal vehicle. Occasional light lifting of large quantities of recruiting materials and display equipment that may weigh 30-50 pounds required.
