Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Patient Access Associate to join our Emergency Department.
CMH Emergency Department Patient Access Associates strive to make the patients initial contact with Citizens Memorial Hospital a pleasant stress-free experience and to gather the appropriate patient information to maintain an accurate medical record.
A typical day will include: ER Registration is an essential part in ensuring a patient is seen in a timely manner. You will assist with obtaining and in putting information on patients that arrive for evaluation. Once patients have been evaluated you will be responsible for verifying patient demographic information including: Name, Address, SSN, and insurances. As ER Registration you will also assist physicians and nursing with contacting outside resources or paging overhead in Emergency situations within the hospital.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Customer Service/Clerical
• Licensure & Certifications: Preferred Medical terminology
