Patient Account Analyst/Provider Enrollment

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for timely and accurate submission and collections of assigned Patient/Client Accounts. Responsible for the timely enrollment of new providers and ongoing maintenance of existing providers. Enrollment includes, but is not limited to Medicaid and out of state Medicaid payers. Responsible for maintaining provider matrix, and CAQH

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Medical and Facility billing preferred
• Minimum of two years computer experience which includes Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Ability to be accurate and attentive to detail
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Review and check final bills assigned for accuracy and readiness for billing by working system claim edits.
• Responsible to work assigned queues and follow-up on accounts, edits, denials, appeals, adjustments, and refunds.
• Required to update Patient encounters and Patient insurance profiles to add insurance benefit order rows as needed.
• Update the CAQH web-site with current required provider information as needed.
• Prepare Provider Enrollment forms hard copy or electronically as required by payors.
• Maintain Provider shared folder with all enrollment documents,working with Credentialing dept.
• Maintain Provider matrix on shared drive.
• Other duties as assigned
