• Department: Float
• Schedule: PRN Day; Minimum 6 shifts per 6 week schedule; 12.5 hour shifts
• Hospital: Ascension Saint Thomas Hospitals
• Location: Must be able to work at both locations: Saint Thomas Midtown (Nashville, TN) and Saint Thomas Rutherford (Murfreesboro, TN);

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

• Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
• Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
• Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate.
• Record all observations.
