Atlas Physiotherapy & Health was started in 2021 with the goal of helping clients reach all their health goals. We are a team of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapist, and Registered Dieticians all with that one goal in mind.
Our team aims to educate and provide treatments that will lead our clients back to their baseline, minimize re-injury, and to become stronger and healthier for the future.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are a multidisciplinary clinic seeking a highly organized and customer-service oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Patient Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient coordination role
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. Experience with EHB, WSIB, and MVA an asset
  • Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency an asset but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow
  • Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care
  • Answering patient inquiries and resolving any concerns
  • Verifying patient insurance coverage and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information in our electronic medical record system
  • Assisting with billing and coding as needed.
