Responsibilities:

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is for a Patient Finance Administrator, focusing on providing financial assistance to both staff and patients as well as the Charity’s business operations, with an operational focus on the Patient Purchases process.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Being responsible for the timely and accurate order of patient purchases using a Charity Purchasing card, and in line with Charity processes (clinical and financial)
  • Monitoring the patient purchases order book, as well supporting patients/wards with delays, returns and delivery issues.
  • Administrating accurately and effectively the monthly purchasing card reconciliation process
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, patients and external parties. Meeting face to face to share information and help resolve issues where required.
  • Processing transactions accurately and delivering a high level of customer service to patients and wards.
  • Updating the financial accounts systems as required/directed by colleagues in Finance.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial information & regular reports, and undertake audits as required
  • Any other duties as appropriate to the grade as required by the Patient Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department.
