Description:
DETAILS
- Department: Virtual Patient Monitoring
- Schedule: Full time, night shfit, working 3 12hr shifts/week from 7:00pm - 7:00am, rotating weekends and holidays, self-scheduling
- Hospital: Ascension Via Christi, St Francis
- Location: Wichita, KS
REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:
Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities:
Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
- Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
- Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
- Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
- Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.
