Patient Process Facilitator

Working across the Emergency Care Directorate including Urgent Care A&E and the Emergency Assessment Unit. The Patient Process facilitator role is paramount to facilitate the efficient and timely flow of patients through the departments. We have an exciting opportunity available for a permanent Patient Process Facilitator to join our Emergency Care Directorate. You will be working as part of the well established teams and the wider multi disciplinary team to promote the efficient flow of patients within the Trust and support both the medical and nursing team with diagnostic requests and result management.
You will maximise the use of beds whilst ensuring the optimum environment for patient care in order to facilitate the Trust in maintaining bed capacity and supporting the achievement of the Urgent and Emergency Care Standards. You will be responsible for the daily reporting of ambulance handover times and delays of time in department. You will communicate with other trusts regarding bed availability and outpatient referrals
