Description:

DESCRIPTION

Under supervision coordinates patient reception, scheduling and registration. Obtains and records all data relative to the registration process. Maintains knowledge of insurance and third-party payers, computer data-entry and forms and the Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN) process. Answers all incoming calls using correct phone etiquette and displays exemplary customer service skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with multi-line telephone systems, personal computer, printers, copiers and fax machines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical terminology
  • 6 months clerical background involving public contact, preferably medical. Ancillary department (such as Radiology), clerical or Admitting Representative/Scheduling specialist experience
