Job Description:
Comprised of a state-of-the-art 40,000 square foot medical imaging facility. Our comprehensive medical imaging program includes:
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Interventional Radiology (IR)
- General Radiology
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Mammography (Designated High Risk Centre)
- Nuclear Medicine
- Ultrasound
- Vascular Ultrasound
As the Patient Services Clerk you will be is responsible for reception, communication and clerical duties of the unit in accordance with the organizational philosophy, policies and standards of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a qualified candidate you will have the following job requirements:
- Medical Office Administration Certificate/Diploma or Equivalent Program essential
- Office administration experience in a hospital environment or equivalent Competencies:
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office – essential II. Keyboarding skills – 50wpm – essential
- Current experience with MEDITECH Expanse, including Registration, EMR, Order Entry, IDM modules (CWS - Appointment scheduling an asset)
- Current experience in the processing of physicians orders an asset You are ideal for this position if you have:
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using both oral and written format with patients, families, public, colleagues and other members of the inter-professional team.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
