Description:

PATIENT SERVICES AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Reporting to: The post holder will report to the Director of Clinical Operations or designated officer.
Direct Reports: Medical Secretary Team and Patient Admissions Team.
Reporting Relationships: Clinical Director, Medical Director, Finance Director, Nursing Directors, Consultants, IT Team, External Stakeholders (e.g., insurers, referring organizations/clinicians)

Responsibilities:

The Patient Admissions Manager provides operational and strategic oversight for the functions of patient admissions and medical secretarial services ensuring efficient and high-quality administrative services. This includes overseeing workflows, managing referrals, optimising patient throughput, and ensuring effective outpatient operations, including booking and payment processes.
The role further focuses on transitioning to digital patient files within both teams, adopting modern technologies to enhance reporting capabilities, aligning team activities with organisational objectives, promoting operational excellence and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
