This job orders and dispatches service providers, working closely with Transfer Center employees to dispatch EVS and Patient Transport personnel. Uses department specific software to ensure timely patient discharge and room cleaning. Completes and maintains EVS discharge log and assists in tracking team productivity. Performs general clerical duties, to include typing, filing and completing miscellaneous paperwork.

EDUCATION

Required – High school graduate or equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required – 1 year experience as an Office Assistant or Customer Service Representative
1 year professional experience with MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience working with little or no supervision

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment in handling difficult situations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs the EVS dispatching
  • Manages the transport dispatching
  • Coordinates inter-departmental communication with the Transfer Center
  • Manages and coordinates office activities
  • Other related duties as required.
