ABOUT YOU

You will hold a current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence with an excellent driving record and current First Aid certification (HLTAID011 or equivalent).
In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, work both autonomously and as part of a team and follow instructions, the ability to prioritise and be able to plan and organise workload.
We are also seeking candidates who have a willingness to perform shifts of up to 12 hours.

As a key member of the crew, you will work with a team of professionals, be part of a leading aeromedical organisation and enjoy a roster that will allow you a life outside of work. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Collect and transfer patients in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Actively participate in the loading / unloading and manoeuvring of patients pre and post transfer, ensuring the use of appropriate manual handling techniques and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and safe systems of work are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of the patient.
• Undertake daily vehicle inspections to ensure both roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Maintain vehicle log sheets and related documentation.
• Tend to basic vehicle needs (fuel, checking fluids and tyre pressure, cleaning / washing and submitting for servicing as required).
