Description:

Our Pay Equity analysis solution uncovers pay equity insights in minutes, helping organizations understand the actions required to remediate and provides the tools to build a sustainable approach to pay equity. This role is for a Pay Equity Analyst who brings a combination of analytics and customer service skills to serve as a pay equity subject matter expert to our customers during their implementation engagements.

Core responsibilities:

  • Leverage prior experience in compensation, employment law, economics, or diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) strategy to work with a broad range of clients and industries in a dynamic environment, participating as an integral member of project teams to provide advice on advanced pay equity topics to customers.
  • Partner with the customer success team to consult with customers on advanced analytical and statistical methods related to their pay equity analyses and effective usage of the Payscale Pay Equity platform.
  • Assist Pay Equity Consultants with administrative tasks for example, salesforce administration, client site creation, documentation upkeep and note keeping
  • Participate in special client-focused projects to help our customers improve their internal operations.
  • Provide customer and operational support by completing routine tasks associated with customer data.
  • Participate in ongoing training and self-education to gain in-depth knowledge about the nuances of pay equity, including statistics, analytics methods, and pay equity laws.

Role progression:

  • Within 1 month, you’ll have completed a comprehensive and supportive onboarding process to help you understand the product, the business, and the pay equity space.
  • Within 3 months, you’ll be fully ramped and working with customers to provide best practice advice and support on project engagements.
  • Within 6 months, you’ll be developing and delivering advanced custom analytics and advice to customers, while also contributing meaningfully to Payscale’s thought leadership initiatives.

About you:

  • This is an experienced position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, and strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, typically achieved through post-secondary education.
  • Experience with applying statistical knowledge to data driven questions.
  • Some familiarity with or exposure to compensation or HR terminology or concepts is helpful, but not required.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to explain and present complicated concepts to all levels of our customer audience from the C-suite down.
  • You are driven to provide solutions that meet customer needs in a flexible, and proactive way.
