We are looking for a Payer Solutions Lead to join us in our Access, Pricing and External Engagement team based out of our office in Oakville, Ontario, Canada

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Payer Solutions Lead, you will be an integral part of the Access, Pricing and External Engagement (APEX) team, a dynamic and diverse group of professionals who are committed to delivering value to patients, payers, and health care providers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute to HTA, public and private payer submissions strategies and tactics - highlight evidence gaps and needs to support optimal access and pricing outcome for public HTAs and private reimbursement needs
- Co-manage public and private payer agreements by overseeing the management of invoices and conduct detailed rebate analysis to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
- Actively collaborate with our Insights-to-Impact (I2I) team to provide access related analytical insights such as managing analysis of private and public payer splits
- Participate in the cross-functional launch excellence meetings for new assets from an access strategy perspective.
- Support the Head of the APEX team on analytical tasks related to payer negotiations.
- Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships and partnerships with Payers that allow for depth of insight into their needs, objectives, challenges and budgetary / value considerations, and emergent trends and policies
- Actively participate in patient, Payer and other stakeholder advisory boards for insights in the unmet needs the solutions will address and how best to deliver the solution (jointly, with other function/APEX team members)
INTERESTED? FOR THIS ROLE WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 2-3+ years proven track record in the design and implementation of patient access strategies that have led to successful Public and Private reimbursement outcomes
- Insight into emerging Market Access trends
- Ability to effectively work in teams, collaborate, lead by influence, negotiate, bring creative and innovative ideas to the table
- Financials and business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English language, Bi-lingual (English/French) will be preferred
- Fully Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Willingness to travel as needed (20% or less)
