The Wire Room Specialist with Telephony Skills within Payment Operations is responsible for processing wire payments and related activities and is an integral part of Central Banking Operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Aims to deliver superior service to clients by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of people, processes, and technology to enhance financial performance, increase investment capacity, and manage risk.

EDUCATION:
- Required – High School Diploma or equivalent (College Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Preferred)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years of experience in a call center and/or customer service role or experience in cash management products and/or payment services (Wire and ACH)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers, team, and management.
- Adequate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide concise and clear communication with a wide audience of internal departments.
- Developing knowledge of the cash management industry, including systems, products, and services
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $39,600 - $53,000/yea
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing and validating wire and research requests received via different mediums including but not limited to: Microsoft TEAMS, IVR Telephony Channel, Digital Documentation, and Email.
- Accurately record customer interactions and resolutions where applicable in the company’s CRM or Telephony system.
- Supports processing of payments, investigations inquiries, and related activities.
- Diagnose issues, provide accurate information, and offer appropriate solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Adheres to Privacy Policy and Code of Ethics and follows all policies and procedures relative to Consumer Compliance laws, the regulators, and best practice recommendations.
- Processes / reconciles transactions related to product/functional area.
