Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be part of the Operations team within AXA Partners CLP and working closely with our country Operations teams. The Payments & Collections Team sit at a key point in the customer journey so strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business is a key requirement.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Solutions orientated, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Ability to analyse complex data issues and develop a pathway to logical resolution
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate)
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure on multiple priorities and to critical deadlines
- Experience of life and non-life products, especially in Credit & Lifestyle protection
- Strong Attention to detail
- Leaving Certificate qualification

Responsibilities:
- Manage the assigned country payments or collections process accurately and in a timely manner
- Complete appropriate monitoring checks to ensure accuracy of payment files
- Responsible for payment reconciliation and investigating when discrepancies arise
- Management of monthly workflow and priorities to ensure that all collections and Payment runs are met
- Responsible for escalating any issues that arise and working closely with IT function to troubleshoot and resolve
- Work with country operations teams to ensure successful transfer and collection of payments in accordance with agreed processes
- Play an integral role in the formulation and delivery of resolutions to support issues and take necessary preventative steps
- Adhere to and complete all regular team controls, ensuring appropriate control evidence is maintained
- Create and maintain process documentation within best practice guidelines
- Ensure that quality feedback is actioned on a timely basis, minimising any customer impact
- Present regular updates to our key stakeholders and participate in reporting obligations when necessary
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and work with wider Operations team to implement improvements/feedback
- Provide SME support to the implementation and onboarding of new deals
- Work with IT process owners to ensure delivery of new development and production support
- Support the overall Operations function, as required
- Any relevant testing as required & providing feedback on solution design when required
