In a typical month, Phorest processes 3 million appointments and we send over 3 million SMS and 4 million emails. We process 200k online bookings per month and over 150 custom built white label native apps.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Payments Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This role would be responsible for the day-to-day payments operations processes of the UK & Ireland region, including triaging support issues, chargeback representment, supporting the sales and onboarding teams, working with the product team to launch new PhorestPay features and products, and being the payments expert for the region. You will be working closely with the global payments team to become an expert on PhorestPay and the wider payments industry.
You will be the local subject matter expert for payments in the region sharing knowledge and best practices with your team, and feeding insight into our global payment operations, commercial and product teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to sales and onboarding teams to enroll new salon customers to PhorestPay, including drafting sales agreements and ensuring customers are familiar with all aspects of the payments process
  • Confirm all new and existing customer payments rates are set up correctly on our systems, investigating and solving any mismatches or errors
  • Triage and resolve payment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Submit chargeback representment documentation from salons within the required timeframe.
  • Act as the payments expert for the region, providing expertise and guidance to other teams as needed. This includes staying on top of local payments trends/regulations and capabilities required by our payments offering.
  • Tracking and monitoring of all logistics in relation to PhorestPay card terminals, as well as ensuring a consistent experience for all clients
  • Develop best-in-class logistical tracking processes, verified and signed off by leadership
  • Support the launch of new PhorestPay features and products in the region
