Description:

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to support our Payroll Executive/Manager in managing and processing payroll for our workforce. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and assisting with various payroll-related tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 1 years of experience in hands-on payroll processing for a minimum of 100 employees within an HR department.
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Experience with Times Software is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, CPF, and income tax regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and a high sense of commitment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist payroll processing for 400-500 employees in a team, including handling new hires, terminations, overtime calculations, allowances, deductions, salary recovery, leave and benefits administration, and employee claims.
  • Support the preparation and submission of income tax clearance (IR21) for work pass holders.
  • Compile and submit CPF contributions, IR8A forms, and government-paid claims.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data and contribute to process control improvements.
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports and brand billing statements.
  • Handle submissions for government surveys and assist auditors during the annual audit exercise.
  • Maintain and implement best practices in payroll to improve efficiency and processes.
  • Participate in HR initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Payroll Executive/Manager.
