Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Payroll & Administration Specialist to join the HR Administration team.
Some of the essentials for you to know are:
Location: Our office in Milan, Italy
Reporting into: Payroll & HR Shared Service Manager Italy
Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 Months)
Workplace Type: Hybrid
Potential Start Date: September 2024

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for ensuring staff data input and management of the payroll process throughout the employee life cycle from hiring to exit in line with labour law regulations and internal policies
  • Managing attendance recording activities and checking issues related to presence/absence, sickness, maternity leave, holidays, other leaves
  • Managing the payroll cycle and administrative related tasks with the external provider
  • Checking payslips
  • Managing reports on payroll data
  • Providing administrative support for the full employee’s lifecycle to solve queries related to payroll, benefits, leave of absence, sickness, local collective agreement regulations etc.
  • Maintaining updated HR documentation, records and internal databases for all employees

The type of person we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years’ HR Payroll and Administration experience with deep knowledge of Italian labour law
  • Advanced Knowledge of Zucchetti and CCNL Commercio is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Data management and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communications skills, process-based mindset
  • Resilience and forward-thinking approach
  • Fluent in English and Italian
