Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a contract Payroll Administrator in the Tri-State area to join our dynamic team based in Newark, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for processing Broadridge multi-state bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. You will act as the subject matter expert, and support HR Operations with day to day inquiries to payroll issues and questions, as well as assisting with payroll system implementation.

This is a temporary, contract role expected to last approximately 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Process US biweekly payrolls to ensure timely and accurate paychecks using ADP Enterprise EV5
  • Perform accurate calculation for new hires, terminations, LOAs, third party sick pay and salary changes
  • Issuance of off cycle manual payments based on payroll procedures and State requirements
  • Review of severance agreements and payments according to the terms
  • Conduct Peer-review for any transactions issued by Payroll team members
  • Follows Corporate SOX internal controls and uses the pre and post audits cycle checklists to maintain compliance
  • Research sophisticated and critical issues while meeting Payroll SLA’s
  • Assist with Payroll implementation work

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ADP payroll processing is vital
  • At least 5 years payroll processing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player/Multi-Tasking
  • Experience in handling projects
  • Prior payroll implementation experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
