The International Payroll Specialist will be responsible for administering payroll processes for employees located outside of the Americas. This role requires a deep understanding of international payroll practices, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll operations across multiple countries.
Responsibilities:
- Administer Payroll: Manage payroll processes for employees in various countries including the UK, Australia, Japan, Germany, Singapore, and others, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Process Payroll Changes: Handle payroll changes such as salary adjustments, bonuses, deductions, and terminations, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Collaboration with Payroll Providers: Work closely with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery across different regions.
- Resolve Payroll Queries: Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and management in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain Payroll Records: Ensure all payroll records are accurately maintained, prepare reports for internal and external audits, and manage uploads to external partners as necessary.
- Compliance Monitoring: Stay informed about changes in international payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures to streamline and improve payroll operations.
- Audit Support: Prepare and support internal and external payroll audits by providing accurate data and necessary documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll administration and HR functions, preferably in an international context.
- An understanding of international payroll practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage payroll processes across multiple time zones.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
