Title: Administrator, Payroll Services
Salary: $57,888 – $72,360 – $79,596 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday – Friday (core hours 9am – 3pm)
Location: Park Royal office – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Wuatuth Nations – Hybrid working is an option (in line with FNHA’s flex work policy (minimum 50% in office). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, Summer 2025.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Administrator on the Payroll Services team, no two days in a row will ever be the same. Our staff rely on the Payroll Administrator to be there to answer questions and provide information about payroll related processes; from time system entries, to collective agreements, to related internal policies and Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. Every day will bring new questions and opportunities to grow and learn.

To be successful in this role you will have/be – The ideal candidate for this role is an energetic, curious payroll professional, who is willing to go the extra mile for their team, and for their clients.

  • Successful completion of secondary school, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Relevant experience working as a payroll clerk (usually acquired over a 2-year period)
  • Experience working with BC First Nations organizations in a financial capacity
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft (Oracle) Canadian Payroll desired with experience
  • Experience with union hourly payroll environment is an asset
  • Experience working with time and attendance systems is an asse
