Description:
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experience within a similar payroll position (desirable experience in outsourced payroll environment)
- Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft suite including confident use of Excel and Outlook
- Good numeracy skills (a basic payroll test will be conducted at interview)
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A self-starter able to organise and prioritise workload, confident in seeking support when needed and highly responsive attitude
Responsibilities:
- In your role you will be primarily responsible for processing client payrolls assigned to you, providing a first-class payroll bureau service to clients
- This responsibility will cover the start to finish process of all of the payrolls in your portfolio including auto-enrolment
- You will use payroll software efficiently, including import/exports and report writing (full training provided)
- You will apply your knowledge of UK payroll and pension legislation to ensure your client’s remain fully compliant
- You will develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts at all levels. You will be a trusted advisor for all clients in your portfolio
- You can be based from Birmingham, Glasgow, Milton Keynes or Manchester and will be expected to attend the office 2 days per week (the days of your choosing)
