Description:

We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Milton, Massachusetts. This role is based in the financial services industry and involves the management and coordination of payroll functions, ensuring the accuracy of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Managing the student payroll function, including monitoring Work Study awards and tracking hours worked.
  • Coordinating with Human Resources for the setup of all new hires and overseeing changes in benefits.
  • Managing faculty payroll information.
  • Stepping in as the backup to the Payroll Manager in their absence.
  • Utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian software for payroll processing.
  • Generating reports using Crystal Reports software.
  • Administering 401k - RRSP and auditing as required.
  • Performing accounting functions and managing About Time software.
  • Resolving inquiries related to payroll and benefits functions.
  • Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiarity with Ceridian and Crystal Reports
  • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
  • Knowledge of About Time software
  • Understanding of general Accounting Functions
  • Experience in Auditing
  • Knowledge of Benefit Functions
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
