Description:

Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Human Resources and Payroll Administrator position with a growing Reno based company. The person in this role will report to the COO, and work autonomously to support Human Resources, benefits and payroll. Responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding process for new employees, by welcoming new recruits and ensuring new employees supply key documents, such as proof of identity, bank details, and employment records, and responds to their inquiries.
  • Administers the payroll management software, HR software programs and benefit portals.
  • Utilizes payroll software to schedule semi-monthly payroll payments, including payroll taxes, insurance, 401(k), and other benefit deductions.
  • Works closely with the Chief Financial Officer to determine changes to payroll schedules.
  • Ensures quarterly and annual payroll reports are filed timely.
  • Coordinates annual benefit plans, annual open enrollment meetings, and manages employer insurance and benefits, including the carrier insurance portals.
  • Responds to employment verifications and outside financial, insurance, and worker’s comp audits.
  • Estimates annual salaries for workers comp and works closely with the insurance provider.
  • Works with COO to document and roll out human resource policies and procedures
  • Implement a documentation system for reviews, etc. in personnel files
