100% On site Payroll position in Rio Rancho, NM!!

The Payroll Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining and administering the company’s time and attendance and payroll systems with utmost accuracy and timeliness. This position required experience using PAYCOME. Key responsibilities include reviewing weekly timesheets, processing payroll, maintaining related payroll records and reports, reconciling and preparing Union Dues reports and Employee Leave reports, documenting workflow procedures, and collaborating with Human Resources on fringe benefits and deduction reconciliations. The administrator also takes lead on resolving potential payroll or timesheet issues, preparing a variety of standard and ad-hoc reports whilst ensuring data integrity, and promoting professional communication within the organization. This role demands an individual with an Associate degree in Accounting or relevant experience, along with a minimum of three years in tim1e and attendance and payroll processing. Knowledge and experience in Deltek Cost Point, Paycom, and generic payroll and accounting practices are essential. Appy today!

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with Ceridian and Kronos Timekeeping System
  • Knowledge of 401k and RRSP Administration
  • Ability to work with About Time software
  • Understanding of accounting and benefit functions
  • Experience in check processing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
