Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the professional services industry, based in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing various types of payrolls, maintaining knowledge of payroll systems and accounting, and ensuring compliance with Federal/State wage and hour laws. This role also entails preparing reports, documenting payroll changes, and processing tax withholdings and credits.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process various types of payrolls including biweekly, monthly, partner and/or international payrolls.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems, accounting, and Federal/State wage and hour laws.
- Prepare and export reports from the Time Tracking System.
- Document and ensure all payroll changes are properly approved.
- Load imports from multiple departments related to payroll changes.
- Process tax withholdings and credits for partners.
- Utilize accounting software systems and automated payroll systems effectively.
- Perform auditing and benefit functions as required.
- Maintain and update records in Workday.
- Administer 401k - RRSP and manage related accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
- Familiarity with “About Time” software
- Knowledge of Accounting Functions
- Skills in Auditing
- Understanding of Benefit Functions
- Proficiency with Workday software
- Experience with Automated Payroll
- Knowledge of Benefits Payroll
- Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll
