Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity in Mesa, Arizona for a Payroll Administrator to join our team. The role involves maintaining payroll systems, processing paychecks, and providing technical support for HRIS users in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate timesheet information and enter data into payroll databases.
- Calculate paycheck amounts and distribute funds to employee accounts.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Identify system improvements and enhancements and implement solutions.
- Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Process employee data like leaves and benefits.
- Export regular and ad hoc reports from our internal databases.
- Create new accounts and manage access permissions.
- Train system users on functionalities and new features.
- Update employee records with new hire information.
- Troubleshoot and report technical issues.
- Develop data processing guidelines.
- MUST Have experience with NEW version of UKG
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Familiarity with Ceridian and Crystal Reports
- Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
- Knowledge of About Time software
- Ability to handle accounting functions
- Auditing skills are a must
- Expertise in benefit functions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
