Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Job Type: Temporary 3 months with potential to extend
Location: Edinburgh (flexible with hybrid remote working, 1 day per week minumum in Edinburgh office)
Pay Rate: £120-£130 per day

What you’ll do:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll within the company. Your responsibilities will include managing payroll functions, coordinating with various departments, preparing detailed reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing relevant policies. You will also be tasked with resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the payroll process. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Manage payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure correct employee data.
- Prepare reports detailing payroll account changes including income, taxes, deductions, etc.
- Ensure compliance with current government regulations.
- Establish and implement policies on matters such as payroll advancements to employees.
- Resolve issues or discrepancies related to payroll processing.
