Description:

EDUCATION/ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/ CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state organization
  • Certified payroll professional preferred
    (or commensurate combination of experience and education)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS (KSAO’S)

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to build affective professional relationships with companies throughout all levels of the organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Ultipro (UKG)
  • Experience in a global organization
  • Multi-lingual a plus

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Payroll Analyst, Europe is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role includes analyzing payroll data, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and maintaining payroll records. The Payroll Analyst, Europe works closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process payroll for assigned employee group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and verify payroll data, including timekeeping records, employee status changes, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, wage laws, and company policies.
  • Perform payroll audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of payroll reports to relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to update employee records, such as changes in salary, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Support the payroll team in implementing and improving payroll processes and systems.
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and ensure payroll systems are updated accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
