Payroll Analyst

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a team in the Government sector near Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be tasked with managing large volume payroll operations, utilizing Lawson and Kronos systems, and leveraging your advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

• Oversee large volume payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Utilize Lawson and Kronos systems for payroll processing and management
• Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills for daily tasks including data analysis and reporting
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to maintain accuracy
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Monitor payroll systems and take appropriate action to optimize operations
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline payroll processes
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
• Stay updated with any changes in payroll and taxation laws
• Assist in other payroll-related projects as needed
• Experienced with Kronos software for workforce management
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Knowledgeable about government payroll regulations and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant professional certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
